All manuscripts submitted to Zakatuna: Journal of Economics and Business will undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic contribution of the work.

Review Stages:

  1. Initial Screening
The editor checks the manuscript’s compliance with the journal's scope, formatting guidelines, and plagiarism level (maximum 20% similarity).

  2. Double-Blind Review
If the manuscript passes the initial screening, it is sent to two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. Both the reviewers and the authors remain anonymous throughout the review process.

  3. Reviewer Decision
Based on the review, the reviewers will recommend one of the following:

    • Accept Submission

    • Revisions Required (Minor or Major)

    • Reject Submission

  4. Editorial Decision
The editor considers the reviewers' feedback to make the final decision and informs the author accordingly.

  5. Revision and Resubmission
If revisions are requested, the author must revise and resubmit the manuscript within the given deadline. Revised manuscripts may be sent back to the reviewers if necessary.

  6. Final Acceptance and Publication
Once accepted, the manuscript proceeds to the copyediting, layout, and publication stages.

The average review and publication process takes approximately 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the responsiveness of the reviewers and authors.
